You won't regret making Colorado your future home! We've got a wide selection of restaurants with the local mom and pop eateries as well as popular favorites like Olive Garden. Great news too for savvy restaurant goers. Did you know these restaurants accept coupons? Having trouble finding these coupons? Ever heard of couponmealtime.com? They have Olive Garden coupons as well as discounts for almost any restaurant out there. I wasn't paid to say this of course but I use this site all the time so I think it deserves a shoutout.
EVERY DAY IS INDEPENDENCE DAY!
You can use this site to explore the population areas of Colorado.
Go to this site: www.City-Data.com. Click on Colorado. Then click the link for "Cities, towns, and villages in between. Less than 1000/1000 and 6000/6000 and above residents." There will be lots of choices. This site provides a wealth of information on each city or town to include pictures.
CODE OF THE WEST
Over a hundred years ago, men and women flocked to this part of the country in search of gold and a better way of life. A trend that continues to this day. Despite advances in modern technology, Park County has retained many pioneer ways.
The Code of the West was first chronicled by the famous writer, Zane Gray when writing about men and women who came to this part of the country during the westward expansion of the United States. The values of integrity and self-reliance guided their decisions, actions and interactions. In keeping with that spirit, we offer this information to help citizens of Park County who wish to follow in the footsteps of those ruged individualists by living outside the city limits.
I copied this word for word from the Park County Emergency Preparedness Guide. I also have found this to be the case with most of the rural counties and areas in Colorado. I whole heartedly invite you to come see and live the CODE OF THE WEST! Jim Jacobs
Letter of Reference
The things that are going on in the world today should be of great concern, at least to those of us who are awake and aware of what is coming. Moving away from an urban area began to seem more and more like a good idea. After reading and researching for an appropriate location, we found Colorado to be a good choice. Searching for a piece of property 2000 miles away from our current location proved to be a difficult task .After several unsuccessful attempts to find a Realtor in Colorado we were fortunate enough to come across Jim Jacobs of Survival Times Realty.
Jim really went above and beyond in an effort to help us find what we were looking for. His expert knowledge of the remote areas proved to be instrumental in helping us find the perfect location. He took into account all of the factors, limitations and financial boundaries we had to work with. Jim provided us with photos of numerous listings and even went so far as to film and send videos of the properties we had an interest in. After carefully viewing the videos, we were able to narrow down our choices and make arrangements to fly to Colorado and personally see the properties. When we arrived, Jim not only showed us that property but several other locations and introduced us to the beauty of the area as well. The time we spent with Jim was more like a sightseeing tour being given by a consummate tour guide rather than a realtor showing listings. Jims love of the area became more and more apparent as we went from one location to the next. We experienced some of the most breathtaking scenery we had ever seen.
Jim was able to address all of our concerns without hesitation, and really made a concerted effort to make things happen for us and happen they did. We would never have found what we were looking for so quickly, or possibly at all had it not been for Jim. We feel very fortunate to have met him. He is a personable, knowledgeable, reliable individual who made it seem his pleasure to have been able to help us with this difficult endeavor. He is a truly genuine and we would highly recommend him to anyone embarking on such an undertaking.
Sincerely, Brigette and Bruce

Small towns and large rural areas interconecting with national forest,BLM, State wild life areas. (Maps below)
Safe areas are South & West of Denver & the Frontrange
The Highway running North and South is I 25 and represents the front range.
There are thousands of square miles of posibilities for self reliant out of the way homes.
3,794,083 square miles makeup Colorado This allows for your choice of proximity to services while still alowing for privicy. I think most of us will still want neighbors to trade with and depend on when things get hard.
